Submissions Policy

Blue Dragon Press only accepts submissions to specific calls. No submissions are accepted at other times. No compensation is offered to authors. Sales revenue will be used for promotions as part of the ARTLAB project.

Current Open Calls

Another Left Shoe--target date March 15, 2013

We are currently accepting submissions for an anthology titled "Another Left Shoe". Primary target is fiction based on that one shoe you see on the side of the road. Stories may be any genre, but please no erotica or gratuitous violence. If selected for the anthology, you will be asked for a headshot and a short author bio.

• length: 500-3000 words
• file type: plain text, RTF, doc, or docx
• format: single-spaced, indented paragraphs

In the subject line of your email put "Shoe--your name". If you submit more than one story, please number them. No more than three submissions per author please.

Examples from the previous Left Shoe anthology may be seen here. Similar webpages and author bios will be created for the new anthology. Each accepted story will have a coordinated illustration.

Appearing in an anthology gives you a publishing credit for your bio and qualifies you for an author page on Amazon. Authors will be able to purchase POD copies at cost, for resale at book signings.
