Author Betsy A. Riley was born and raised in Murray KY, where she attended Murray State University. She graduated with a double major in mathematics and
computer science and some graduate work in mathematics. During her 35+ years at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Betsy
was married four times and divorced three times (you do the math), raising four step-children. She also owned
a ballroom dance studio in Knoxville Tennessee.
The Comet, Betsy's first book, is an illustrated fable
about relationships and loneliness.
Street People Tales uses narrative poetry to introduce
a cast of characters who form their own community.
Betsy has short stories and poems in two anthologies published by Blue Dragon Press. She is also
published in magazines, e-zines, and anthologies from other publishers. Some of her work is
under various pen names.
